A New Way to Play Bid Euchre

We’ve added a third way to play called Challenge.  Challenges can be Head-to-Head, Group or Whole Community.  Tap the ‘Play Challenge’ button on the welcome screen of the app to get started.  You’ll see Challenges from others you can play or tap the ‘Create New’ button to create one for your friends or the whole Play Bid Euchre Community.

Earn Trophy Race Points

The weekly trophy race has  three ways to earn Trophy Points – solo tournaments, multiplayer weekly events and Challenge.  Challenges last three days unless all invitees complete the Challenge earlier.  When the Challenge is complete, the first person to beat the bots (Carl & Connie) by the most points over 8 hands wina the Trophy Points for that Challenge.  The winner earns up to 3 points per Challenge win.  

Anyone Can Play

Challenge friends to a round of bid euchre even if they don’t have the app!  Create a Community Challenge, then tap the share button on the Challenge sheet and share that Challenge with them using your favorite social media app.  The shared message has a link to the specific Challenge you created.  If the invitee doesn’t have the app, tapping the shared link will take them to a web page where they can download the Play Bid Euchre app and play the Challenge the first time in demo mode without the need to set up a Play Bid Euchre account.  If the invitee has the app and is logged in, tapping the link in the shared message will take them straight to your Challenge!

Ad-Free

Challenge is ad-free through January and will always be ad-free for multiplayers and Gold subscribers.

How To Play

There’s 3 types of Challenges:

• Head-to-Head
• Group
• Community

They last for 3 days and then points are awarded.  Head-To-Head and Group Challenges finish sooner if all invitees finish early. 

You can see when each Challenge ends by tapping the Challenge then tapping the info button in the top right.

Scrolling to the bottom of the list of Challenges there’s a completed section which you can tap to expand and see recently completed Challenges.

If you want to create a Head-To-Head or Group Challenge where you invite just your friends to play, you tap ‘Private’ when asked who can play, then type in the names of your friends and submit.

Once you finish a Challenge, you can tap the Remind or Share button on the Challenge Sheet which will create a link that you can share with your friends via email, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. so they can quickly find your Challenge.  If they don’t have the app, it will show them buttons where they can download the app on the App Store or Google Play Store.
